All classes are taught by April Zhang, a highly experienced Chinese teacher and the author of two series of Chinese textbooks. With her help, many students have achieved remarkable Chinese language proficiency and gained acute Chinese cultural awareness.
She enjoys working with a small group of highly motivated and dedicated students who are keen to learn Chinese, and she gives it the top priority that there is always a new Chinese class starting soon for beginner students.
If the schedule of the coming class does not work for you, write to April and tell her what time, weekdays or weekend, mornings or afternoons, is the the best time for you to take Mandarin lessons. Your preference can influence the arrangement of the next coming class.

This is a beginner’s Chinese writing course, best for people who have learned pinyin.
From basic strokes to 70 frequently used Chinese characters, this course takes students to the wonderful world of learning Chinese reading and writing. Students will understand what the Chinese writing system is and the differences between Chinese characters and words. This course expands the learning scope way beyond the individual characters, and enables students to build solid Chinese reading and writing abilities.

Start speaking Mandarin on day one! This beginner’s Mandarin course is for non-Chinese speakers who have no prior experience in learning Mandarin. This course focuses on listening and speaking. The learning medium is pinyin. Lessons are structured around ten fundamental topics, such as self introduction, places around the town, food and etc. Students’ conversational abilities are rapidly developed through many stimulating and fun class activities and targeted drills.

Have a fantastic start for your Mandarin lessons!
This beginner’s intensive course is for non-Chinese speakers to start speaking and writing Chinese quickly. This integrated Chinese program combines two Chinese courses, one focusing exclusively on Mandarin listening and speaking while the other on Chinese reading and writing, into one, supplemented with additional features for targeted drills and cultural interests.
On completing the program, students will be able to carry on simple and nice daily conversations and understand the key functions of Chinese characters and the Chinese writing system.

This Chinese course is for people who do not speak Mandarin and who only have a couple of hours for a quick lesson on necessary cultural insights and must known phrases, which they definitely need to be better prepared for their sight seeings or business in the Greater China Region.
