The first Chinese Reading and Writing 2 online lesson published

It has been a pretty busy time at MSL Master this year so far. Chinese Reading and Writing 1 online video lessons, 18 of them in total, were produced and uploaded. An enhanced version of Chinese Reading and Writing 1 and Chinese Learning Pen were launched. Both are super helpful for beginner students. Naturally, the next step is to produce online video lessons for Chinese Reading and Writing 2.

Now I’m proud to say, the first online lesson of Chinese Reading and Writing 2 is available for all, completely free, no opt-in requirements of any kind! A dedicated web page has been created for this lesson, and for all the future video lessons of Chinese Reading and Writing 2. We continued to use animated explainer video as the teaching medium. And the handwritten style is continued to be featured. Watch this first lesson here. 

As a continuation of Chinese Reading and Writing 1, Chinese Reading and Writing 2 starts at Lesson 6. This first lesson presents ten new Chinese characters introduced in Lesson 6, teaching students how to read them, how to write them, and their meanings. 

The coolest thing about Chinese Reading and Writing 2 is the exponential growth of words and combinations, and as a result, tons of sentences, conversations and reading materials can be written as reading and writing exercises. 

Chinese Reading and Writing 2 presents only 50 new Chinese characters. However, together with the 70 characters taught in the previous book, 166 words and combinations are presented. And 229 sentences, 21 conversations and 9 short reading materials are available for students to practice reading and writing Chinese. These exercises are priceless, and the only way for students to develop solid Chinese reading and writing skills.
