How Does It Work

This Finance Chinese Course is an extension for students who have completed the Mandarin Express series to further their Chinese study and to maximise the prospect of their careers.

This course is structured around a few key financial newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal (Chinese version), the Financial Times (Chinese version), Caixin, and others, which present the latest market developments and the breaking business & economic news in the worldwide financial markets. 

This course helps students improve their Chinese proficiency by acquiring industry specific vocabulary and becoming familiar with the formal business news style commonly seen in financial newspaper articles. Also, students get the timely information on current events.

Video clips are also selected for students to become familiar with native Chinese broadcasters and to follow fast business report presented in Chinese. 

This course is important for students to learn finance related terms, to understand the financial markets, to present analyses in fluent Chinese, and ultimately, to gain a competitive advantage on business related to China.
